Hi
please tell what are the day-to-day activities(issues) of a DBA? what are prime duties of DBA while starting the day? |

Having auditing turned on, audit log file secured and auditing records reviewed
Be able to trace users accounts to an approved request for setup and make sure that password aging is turned on
Having a change management system in place with approvals
Tracking down time, because during unauthorized down time someone could be trying to manipulate the system
Having a backup and disaster recovery plan to protect the data you will need for reporting
