 hi all
i am posting some questions plz give the ans somebody knows any one of them

1. schema A has some objects and created one procedure and granted to schema B, schema B has the same objects like A . schema B executed the procedure like inserting some records. in this case where the data will be stored whether in schema A or schema B?

2. can we create procedure procedure to fetch more than one record?

3. in exception handeling we hav not_found and others. in inner layer we have some not_found and others. while executing which one whether outer layer or inner layer will check first?

4. suppose while executing procedure or functions power gets failure or other problem occures and proc or function is not completely run. then what will happen with the dml operations that hav been done by the proc or function.
will the dml operation be committed and remain in the database or they are in the database and can be rolled back or committed or they r automatically rolled back.

Hi Maneesh,
I am trying to solve your questions,
1.what ever records are inserted by schema B are stored in schemaB itself

2.ya,you can get more than one record from procedure by using CURSORS & RefCursors

3.I think exception handling goes from inner layer to outer layer.so,first inner layer next outer layer.

4.While executing DML stmts if power gets failure or other problem occures then they are Not Saved

Any one Let me know if am wrong.

Take Care,

Thanks & Regerds,
Nehru

yes Nehru, you right.. When ever power goes or any such things happen, database will be rolled back to last commit point
