Hi DBA Gurus,
I want to upgrade my database from 9i to 10g on Windows , What are the steps to do this , I have two databases 1 is on drive C and other is on drive D.

Shikhu...if u have the privilege of shutting down the database...then u can take a full export of the 9i database and export it to the 10g version. This is one method. Other is through the use of a utility dbca. The third one is through manual upgradation.

Hi Nand,
Is it possible to have a 9i dump imported in 10g. i havent tried that tough. but the vice versa isnt possible.

Yes...the 9i dmp can be imported in 10g.
