Hi,
I am going to create a new database on a server with 2 processors and multiple hard drives. Can any one pls tell me the best way to oraganise the datafiles and the redo,archive files.

If it's on Linux/Unix
All Data Files - - /u02/app/oracle/oradata/prod
All Index Files - - /u03/app/oracle/oradata/prod
Redo Log Files and Control Files - - /u04/app/oracle/oradata/prod
If you mirror Redo Logs and Controlfiles - - /u05/app/oracle/oradata/prod
Archive Log Destination (If enabled FRA) - - /u06/app/oracle/FRA
