Frequently i got the error message when i open my database server as " No Listner"
i go to the Listner.ora but i dont find any changes that caused the error.
from the command prompt if i type c:\lsnrctl
LSNRCTL> status warehouse

i found the result above. and i check out in the Control Panel> Administrative tools > Services> LIstner status ..........its running automatically.
but still "No listner" Error.
Finding no alternatives i just restart my Computer (Database server)
and Next time the Listner is ok and database running.
Can any one help me and give the Exact solution so that i never face this type of problem........as my Listner running but No Listner error displaing.

Hi,
you have to configure you enviourment variable properly.
1. ORACLE_SID
2. ORACLE_HOME
3. PATH
or
set current_listener WAREHOUSE(according your listener name)
