I am going to design new database for my new application which is same like ORKUT Database.
Please suggest me about database structure.

database structure is based on various modelling techniques.
Have a good grasp on ER modelling.
Database design can be done using oracle design centre
It is a OLTP as well as Datawarehouse kind of database.
So choose memory settings carefully for optimal performance.
