| hi ,I am currently in .net environment as a fresher(completed 8 months) but in ma job i am used a lot with oracle also(sql query and procedures,packages).now i decided to turn my line to oracle.i am breking my head to choose between DBA or Application Developer.(as i am thinking to take up OCA next month in sql -007 or 001)plese tell me which side will be permanent and money will be more. i expect a raw answers rather than a diplomatic one... please do help me.if possible mail to bcoolkarthik@yahoo.co.uk or karthik.amir@ril.com. |

Most of the time If you DBA you have bit less opportunity but will be paid well and if you become developer then you will have more opportunities and will be paid bit less compared to DBA. But it is not standard one. Some times opposite may also happen
