hi,
i have arround 400 tables & i dont have enough space to run my database on archive mode .
so i want to take incremental backup of arround 10 tables no full tables.
so tell me how can i take incremental backup only linited tables in tha database.
is it possible ?
if yes so plz wreite me complete script & process |

which incremental backup ????
your database is not running in archive log mode.so i suspect your didn't talk about RMAN....
and if you talking about EXPORT then don't use it..there is nothing to incremental...

hi,
- db is running on noarchive mode,so can i use rman w/o shuting down my db
-can i take incremtal backup of only limited table not full db
let me explain , my db is running on noarchive mode & i want to take incremental backup of some table not full db & i cant shutdoen my db.
so tell me it possible & if yes then how ?

Incremental backup can be taken using rman if its running with archivelog mode. U can only take cold backups on timely manner.

Dear
RMAN backup is only for database level(that takes block level backup) not for individual table level.
The second thing is that in logical backup(ie. export) you have an option for incremental backup but that is also applicable only for database level.
