I have trace files pilling up in my database consuming a lot of space.I want some help, on how to clear them.My database is running Hp-ux systems

check sql_trace parameter is true ?
if yes then set it "false".

hi i want to know how to clear the current trace files log and will it affect my database in any way.

you just delete them.
there is not impact on database.
