I have have this background processes in the istance lock.The status is that they are all active.my question is can i kill them or just ignore them.Is there anyone who has clue on this.
they are SMON,CKPT&LGWR |

They all are Oracle Background process.If you kill them then Oracle will terminate abruptly

I realy need a solution for this.I need get those background process from the instances locks.Anyone with an idea how i can do that.I tried bouncing the database but there was no success.

I am not getting any error though they are in the blocking instance list.I want to get them out of that list.I have like 400 users they alway appear in user locking list which monitor and kill the locking users session after every thirty minutes.
