Once i keep the database in begin backup mode, some 100 transactions are happening and those are belong to XXXX1.dbf,XXXX2.dbf files which are in-turn belong to YY tablespace. So, does this above transactions written to YY tablespace?
If no, can i know the reason? and please let me know the mechanism behind begin backup mode?
Anticipating your response at the earliest!!!
Regards Vikhar. |

These Transaction will not go to the tablespace "yy", they will written and archived and after you finish the backup they will be written,
about the machanism i am not sure but you can imagine it as copying a big word file that want no one to access untill you finish.
