 Dear Friends,

I need to implement Oracle Ebusinees suite with Oracle Appl server, and Oracle DB server. these are should be installed in IBM AIX server.

I have two IBM p5 seeries servers and an IBM SAN box with 200 TB, Booth the servers AIX OS is installed with HA (MACMP) mode which achived by IBM Optic switch.

Requirements.
1. Booth the IBM servers are should be installed with Oracle Appl Server and Oracle DB server. But at a time one service only should run in one server(Oracle App server should run in one server and
Oracle DB server should run in another one) when booth the IBM servers are running.

2. SAN BOX is made two partition ( Volume Group) one is for Oracle Application Server and another for Oracle DB Server

3. If one of the IBM server go's down automatically another IBM server should start the server service of failed IBM server responsibility.

4. Oracel should be installed with Multinode option

For this Which mode of HA( HACMP) is suitable to proceed.

Activ Active more or Active Pasive mode is suitable for this

If any one installed Oracle with this setup or any one has knowledge in this, kindly suggest how to proceed

Reg
