How do i know currently which patch i have in my database? Once i know this, how do i apply latest patches and where from we will get patches? Also, currently i am using Oracle 10.2.0.1.0 version So, how can i change the version to 10.2.0.3?
SQL> select * from v$version;
BANNER
----------------------------------------------------------------
Oracle Database 10g Enterprise Edition Release 10.2.0.1.0 - Prod

From metalink you can download Patchset.Readme file comes with the Patch.You need to follow steps in readme file.
Metalink--> "Patches & Updates".You have to specify OS details here
If you have mentioned your OS then I can suggest you Patch number directly.

Currently i am using Windows 2000 professional. Could you please give complete steps on applying patches.
