Hello.
I am new here and I had never user Oracle. I need to know if it is capable of fast multidimensional searches. In another words is there a multi-dimensional engine embedded in the newest Oracle database? To be more presice I had defined a multidimensional problem below.
Suppose that you had n records from multi-dimensional data. Every record has N keys - p1(a1,a2,....aN),
p2(a1,a2,....aN) .... pn(a1,a2,....aN).
Can Oracle solve the nearest neigbour (NN) and ranged NN problems and how many points it would check?
