Hi All,
I am receiving follwoing error in alert log
ARC0: Media recovery disabled
please suugest how to resolve the same.

Hi,
Your Database is running in NOARCHIVELOG Mode.So you need to enable ARCHIVELOG Mode.
Enabling ARCHIVELOG Mode

YOu didn't mention what is your oracle version ?
for both vesion 10g/9i
