GUYS I WOULD LIKE TO MAKE MY CARRER IN DBA AND PREPARING FOR ORACLE 9isql exam , woul u guys pleasse suggest me as to how to proceed to obtain DBA ,certification will self studies do the help.

Any reply is greatly appreciated.

Congratulations for courageous decision.Self study is the best method.

I dont think that any institute can help you learn Oracle DBA.

You can become Oracle DBA by practise and reading only.Just try to install unix based Oracle on your computer and start exploring all the feautures.

Practise in RMAN,Import/Export,SQL*Loader.Learn how to take statspack,AWR,ADDM reports,try to understand that report.

Actively participate/watch forums so you can understand/solve real time problems
