 Hi to One and All,

Version = 10.2.0.1
Os = Windows 2000

Instead of manually checking alert log file, how do i configure it on my mail box.

Also, please let me know how to upgrade from 10.2.0.1 to 10.2.0.3, i think i have to apply patch first and then upgrade, if so, can you please provide complete steps.

When you download the compatible patch from the Metalink, theere you can the file README document, which will have the complete steps for upgrading??

Configure EM notification.

If you have downloaded patch from metalink then unzip it and you will find README file.You have to follow that file.

Hi Taj,

I tried emca and also emca -r being at c:\oracle\product\10.2.0\db_1, but i come to same above mentioned prompt. It is not asking me to enter SID and other info as mentioned in your blog. I would like to configure it ASAP. Can you please help me out.
