hi all
i am takin export of a owner and getting this error.
EXP-00008: ORACLE error 4020 encountered
ORA-04020: deadlock detected while trying to lock object SYS.CDC_ALTER_CTABLE_BEFORE
EXP-00000: Export terminated unsuccessfully
what steps should i take? |

ORA-04020: deadlock detected while trying to lock object stringstringstringstringstring
Cause: While trying to lock a library object, a deadlock is detected.
Action: Retry the operation later.
but in my advice don't export "sys" schema.

First of all i am i have written i am taking in owner mode,that means i am not exportin sys schema.Taking a particular user's objects.
and secondly this is not the right solution which u have given.
