Hi,

oracle database security is vast topic. You can do everything to secure your database.

You need to do lot of things to secure your database.

Some tasks are here !!!

1. Apply latest patches
2. Apply latest CPU
3. Always protect your listener with a password
4. Change password of default/inbuilt users
5. Remove Unused Services
6. Change the TNS Port Number from 1521
7. Monitor the Logfile

Hi,

I am not planning to write book !!!

First of all make list of tasks which are needed for database security then try to implement each task.If you face any problem throught your project then post it here.
