 how can i get the information
data, time and time required for the export.

can we set it in the log file
how..??

you can use "date" enviourment variable with export & import for date

and what about the time,
any variable to monitor the time for export taken.

but there is no such "date" variable in exp --help

1. date is OS enviourment variable not exp utility option.

and for your requriement export like

trace=y is an undocumented parameter in export command and it will enable trace of the export command.You will find trace files from udump.

i tried using the env. variable
but the following err showing:--

EXP-00028: failed to open d:\test_22/01/08.dmp for write
help me..

 Time Zone: EDT
