Hello All,
I'm trying to create a database using dbca on my Linux machine AS4 , but when I configured all the parameters and finally when I click on FINISH, it opens a small window and throws me an error that
cannot create directory "/oraeng/app/oracle/product/10.2.0/admin/orcl/adump"
I'm trying this many a times but getting the same error .
Not knowing what to do.
Kindly help me out.

are the permissions set right for the oracle user? and Oracle DBA (dba) group and Oracle Install Group (oinstall)?

I gave full permissions to that user.But still not working

Please try this:
first: try creating the database before configuring any parameter by clicking the finish button the first time it comes out.(I had similar issue but in windows not linux and the problem was in the regisrty).
second: create the "/oraeng/app/oracle/product/10.2.0/admin/orcl/adump" manually and then create the database.
